Practical information

: You are welcome to bring your dog or cat on board the ferry to Sweden, and there is no need to buy a special ticket. The pet is allowed on the passenger deck accompanied by its owner, as long as it is kept on a leash and does not disturb other passengers.
Pets are not allowed in the onboard shop and restaurant. Read more about the rules here.

: It is important for us, that you are satisfied with your trip and your experience on board. Have you had any problems please contact us here.

: Are you travelling by foot, then you must be checked in 3 minutes before departure.
If you are travelling by car or other form of transportation, then you must be checked in 15 minutes before departure.

Border control - ID check

When you cross the border between Denmark and Sweden there are temporary border controls. The Swedish police will take care of entry to Sweden and the Danish police will take care of entry to Denmark.

Entry to Sweden
To avoid waiting time, when you travel to Sweden, either by car or by foot, please have your passport or drivers license (issued in another Nordic country) ready when you leave the ferry in Sweden. If you are travelling with children by car, you must bring their passport.
The police may allow entry to Sweden for children that is included in the parents travel documents.

Entry to Denmark
To avoid waiting time, when you travel to Denmark, either by car or by foot, please have your passport or drivers license (issued in another Nordic country) ready when you leave the ferry in Denmark.
Children under 18 years travelling with a parent that has legal legitimation do not need to show identity card.

Information about payment

Payment
We highly encourage our customers to pay tickets and onboard services by card. It is simple and easy!

Pay with card
You can pay by card onboard all our ferries. In this way we minimize handling with cash and thereby increasing safety.

We accept following cards on all payment locations: Visa and Mastercard
Buying tickets in port and terminals we also accept following cards: Diners and Dankort (this is only accepted on the Danish side)

Cashless from March 1st 2022
To increase safety for our customers and employees we do not accept cash on our point of sale in port and terminals i Helsingborg.
This rule applied from March 1st 2022.

Pay with cash
We do accept cash in DKK at onboard sales and at our point of sales in Helsingør.

OBS!
We only accept card payment in our bars and in restaurant Waves onboard Aurora. In the bar onboard Tycho Brahe you can pay with cash, though only in DKK.
