About ORESUNDSLINJEN

Previously known as ForSea, we are now ORESUNDSLINJEN.

In the future, you will travel with ORESUNDSLINJEN when crossing the sound between Helsingør and Helsingborg. The name change follows the acquisition of ForSea by Denmark's largest ferry company, Molslinjen A/S, making ForSea a part of Nordic Ferry Infrastructure, NFI. We will continue to lead in the green transformation of Danish and Swedish ferry operations, and together with Molslinjen A/S, we can enhance the passenger experience and cooperation between the routes.

Welcome aboard ORESUNDSLINJEN!

The new name will continously be implemented on our ferries and all other materials. Although the name is new, passengers will not miss out on any of the familiar benefits:

ORESUNDSLINJEN still remain the shortest and fastest way to cross the Sound. We sail the four kilometers between Helsingør and Helsingborg around the clock. Anually it is more than six million passengers, a million passenger cars, 410,000 trucks and approximately 9,200 buses. Thus, we are a key in the Nordic infrastructure, connecting Denmark and Sweden with the rest of Europe. ORESUNDSLINJEN operates five ferries on the route, in which the two largest ferries being electrically powered, and a third planned to be by 2025. The goal is to have an emissions-free fleet for ORESUNDSLINJEN by 2030.
